HSBC Bank snubs poorest customers!

Post by Jamjar » Thu Apr 12, 2007 8:14 pm

Well, I wondered when this was going to catch on, the Halifax already started with the poor Visa Electron users by banishing them from using their counter and forcing poorer customers to use a machine, where everyone will know your business!

Well done HSBC!

Whatever next?!?!?!

I'm afraid this is only going to become more and more prevalent. Eventually all but the wealthy few will be "banished" to ever more vulnerable cash machines.

I'm with Barclays and when I deposit cheques over the counter they always ask me if I want any cash. I can also use my bank card to pay bills by phone or on-line when the Woolwich wouldnt let me use their electron card
